Lizard Thrifting

Post by Goldquiver »

Inspired by Pyral's recent thrift, I went to a store to take a look since I haven't been to one of these places in forever.

About 90% of the stuff was clothing, and I wasn't going to thumbs through all of it when so much was plain, but there were a few sections of random stuff too.

(can only appear to add 5 pictures at once so going to try spacing these out)

I don't know what the heck this thing is supposed to do. Some sort of heat plate but this is as far as it closes, maybe for making really thick paninis?

Good Will tends to be the common branch around here. Was one of my furniture sources though last time I went, prices were a bit up and the choice was iffy. If you return next week, it's not impossible something new would be there. VHSes and DVD games are common yeah, along with CD music. Clothes is what you'll often see there though, which means usually I always just run to the back where there's more than clothing.

If you go digging deeper, you could probably find local chains or standalone antique shops and thrift stores. A lot of stuff ends up there and that's where I got most furniture in my last trip (I need to get more.) Good Will you have to hit often for treasures, since they get so much stuff being a large brand and a lot of folks go in and out. Here at least they also had some days dedicated to different types of sale, such as certain colored stickers going as low as 1$, or senior discounts (perfect for everyone here.)
